"Don't sit down and wait for the opportunities to come. Get up and make them."

Madam C.J. Walker

Let's Grow Together

Confidence comes from knowing you’ve already put in the work to set yourself up for inevitable success…but how do you actually DO the work?

Here’s a shortcut.

Step 1 → Get to know who you want to be. What makes you the happiest? How do you want people to feel when they walk away from you?

Step 2→ Don’t worry about what other people think. Nobody is analyzing you deeper than you are. Loving yourself is so much easier.

Step 3 → Educate yourself. Write down all the situations where you don’t feel confident. Brainstorm what you could do to feel like a rockstar in those areas, then start learning!

Step 4 → Believe in the power of positivity. Believe in yourself, stop making excuses, know that you have the power to change, enhance, improve, or remove any aspect of your life.

Step 5 → Choose your words wisely. Go back to that list of uncomfortable situations and write out scripts you could use to feel more confident if it comes up again.

Step 6 → Smile genuinely and often. Smile, laugh, be warm to those you meet. If you welcome people into your world warmly, they really will do the same for you.

Confidence is not something you inherently have. It’s a skill you learn. These 6 tips will get you started to feel more self-confident fast and if you want to dig deeper, join us for the December T&D!

XOXO,
Britt

Three New Retention Calculators

Know how to calculate every type of retention in your salon? We have three brand-new calculators you can start tracking your retention today!

  • Base Client Retention Calculator - The health of your salon and business is found primarily in your ongoing client retention (not new guests)!
  • Traditional New Guest Retention - For traditional new guests, you will want to calculate all of the new guests you met 9–12 months ago. Then calculate how many you have seen again at least three times in the last year!
  • Specialist New Guest Retention - We understand that there is a need for specialist clients (who don't need to be seen as frequently), so calculate new specialist guest retention from the last 15–18 months and then how many you have seen three times since their initial visit.
