Are you guilty of putting your blinders on, working nose to the grindstone towards a goal until you reach it or the wheels fall off?

If you're like me, you felt like you were doing all the right things yet still not achieving some of your goals. Blindspots are to blame. 

Let's break down the top five blindspots and how you can uncover them to achieve massive success. 

#1: Your business isn't healthy
A healthy business spends, on average, [WAITING ON BRITT]% of their revenue on expenses.

Now every business is different, but if you're spending wildly outside that and feel like you're losing money hand over fist, you have a blindspot.

#2: You don't have a target market
There was a time where it was cool to be a jack-of-all-trades, but clients don’t want that anymore. They want the person who’s best at balayage, extensions or men’s hair.

It’s great if you can do it all, but when somebody’s looking for something new, they’ll take a look at your marketing funnel as a whole and know in an instant if you are a match made in heaven.

#3: You don't have a marketing funnel
Look at how you represent yourself to the world. Is it truly in line with the clientele you are trying to attract to your business? Is all of your online marketing working to attract a target market? If not, that’s a blindspot.

#4: You aren't retaining clients
The hope is that 30% of new guests will come in for at least three visits. If they come in for three visits, they are considered retained and will stay with you for at least a year. With existing clientele retention, you want to retain 90% of your regulars year over year.

If you’re losing clients here, you might have a blindspot around your wow factor and guest experience.

#5: No emotional connection
We have to emotionally connect with every person who sits in our chair because guests want to leave feeling like they are better off because they saw you as a stylist. How? By making emotional connections. If you aren't making those connections, you might have a blindspot.
