Preparing an Amazing Brand Photoshoot
Hey Thrivers, Coach Lauren here! Spring is a time for everything to feel fresh and new, and I want to prep you for an amazing brand photoshoot with my Brand Photoshoot Model Guide!
Preparation is key!
Having 2-4 target market guests at your photoshoot will allow you to get maximum photos with minimal time. We can swap these guests out for certain types of photos to limit the hours we are with a photographer.
Ensure all clients are wearing brand colors/outfits, have photo-ready makeup, and a thank-you gift!
Guests 1 & 2:Â These guests will be your customer experience guest. Their hair will be perfectly styled and you'll get photos of them walking in, being welcomed, the consult process, smiling with the stylist, drinking a cup of tea in your waiting area, and the checkout process.
Guests 3 & 4:Â These clients will show off your Zone of Genius services. Example: If you are a highlight specialist you will pre-prep her hair with foils (with conditioner) in a mini highlight pattern. Ensure you leave some hair un-foiled to get photos of the foil process! Use one of these clients to show off your shampoo, blow dry and style experience.
Bringing in multiple target market clients and prepping them to show off parts of your salon experience can have you in and out of a brand shoot in under and hour and a half. Plus, it'll give you a massive amount of photos to choose from for years to come without blowing your photoshoot budget out of the water!
Don't forget to get still shots of your clean, cord-free space as well as head shots of yourself (and your staff), and always ensure you have some shots of you on a phone or computer for your 3-step guest journey on your website!
